It is awards season, and Excellence in Plastic Surgery is also recognized. I am happy to report receiving the NAOPS’s Top 10 Plastic Surgeon award for 2024.
Dr. Joseph Mele received the 2024 Top 10 Plastic Surgeon award from the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons.
Plastic Surgery Awards Season
It’s been a good month. Last week, I received the 2024 Ten Best Award for Patient Satisfaction by The American Institute of Plastic Surgeons (AIOPS).
This week the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons awarded me their Top 10 Plastic Surgeon award for 2024.
Later this week Aesthetic Everything will announce their winners later this week, and I hope to bring you good news in next week’s post. I am nominated in three categories: Top Aesthetic Doctor, Top Plastic Surgeon West and Top Breast Surgeon.
About the NAOPS
The National Academy of Plastic Surgeons is to annually recognize the most qualified and accomplished Plastic Surgeons who have achieved and continue to maintain the highest standards of excellence, and those whose practice elevates the standards of the plastic surgery community as a whole.
Membership in each specific category is by invitation-only after a selection process that examines the Plastic Surgeon’s career achievements, professional experience, peer reputation, patient satisfaction, other notable honors, media notoriety, and community impact.
NAOPS Mission
The NAOPS’s goal is to exhibit and promote standards of excellence in the field of Plastic Surgery and of those highly qualified Plastic Surgeons who likewise demonstrate these qualities and ideals. Membership selection is intended to help prospective new Patients identify the absolute best Plastic Surgeon in their State or area.
